Well guys, basically, TheBuzzer has made a few mods before, and this is his latest mod which is GUI Mod for devhook. It is very easily customizable, and has an amazing range of options as to how you can make your skin. TheBuzzer has been working on this mod for a while now (since Devhook v.44 came out) and according to him this is his final version since he did not get much response from the community on Maxconsole.net. We decided to release it to QJ Forums in hope of getting it on the front page, and hopefully, TheBuzzer can get some appreciation. :) So please, give the mod a try, I'm sure you will like it.

the reame mention you're going to release the source, is it possible to give a brief guide on how to skin the mod, just the skin, not the coding.

Basically just look through the images folder (ms_root/dh/mofiles/images) and check out the images in each folder and stuff, you should easily be able to understand it. I'm thinking later I might make a tutorial, but that would take some time...Zitat:

Yeah I love this GUI, it is great. And my favorite devhook mod. I said thanks to buzzer few times on maxconsole. He was an ass about helping people and never seemed to appreciate the gratitude that he now says he never received. Great coder, not a nice guy. :)
can you install more than one skin at a time so you can select which one you want?

Firstly, if you are doing it in the hope of getting money, please stop... ( Money should not be a requirement, but more of a gesture. )
Secondly, it would be cool if you somehow managed to implement the best DevHook mod ( not design wise ) out there, "DevHook Launcher Mod ( Currently v1.50 ) for PSP" its functionality, create your skinned menu for it. :P
But your menu is awesome, the problem being i see hte xmb more than the menu, so i think DH LM wins me over here.

i still dun understand... this devhook is used for psp fw v2.71? or for v1.5... sry.... super noob to this homebrew application.... help..... :) someone maybe can explain wat is devhook?
yeh i did look at that before but since i don't have the source (i assume .psd) i can't edit much of it. I know i can design my own, but i like your GUI design, they look really cool, so i though i want to edit it abit such as change color, add hoover affect, add some personal BG etc...Zitat:

but dude don't let the guys saying "oh don't bother just wait for stable 2.71 eboots" get to you because i for one intend to stay with 1.5 because sure there was the whole eloader thing and my props goto fanjita for that awsome work but it wasn't kernel mode and so i stuck with what i had plus who knows if old eboots will be able to run on it without massive conversion and since alot of the devs stopped work on the old projects no chance of an updated one when it all comes around anywho

Also I want to try making my own custom firmware but what I want to do is extremely riskly such as making devhook store all in flash and stripping the 1.5 to the minimum. I already wasted over 400 dollars buying a psp and stuff for it. No games btw just hardware 2 gb memstick, datel hd, a lid to protect the screen from anymore damanges, a used 1.5 psp when no downgrades was possable.
So I have class now so I got to go later.

Devhook GUI Mod v3.3
Hey!
I love this mod! i use this instead of devhook. Amazing work dude, keep the hard work, and just watch the download counter, so you can see many of us this one, and love this :P
In fact, I didn't even know you needed donations, maybe others didn't know, neither, so, don't be discouraged, and they will come, because is a GREAT mod, after I installed the previous version, i don't open devhook again, just your mod :)
